Security & Privacy
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (cost 12) and are never stored in plaintext.
Even with full database access, passwords cannot be recovered — only replaced.
Sessions use cryptographically random 64-character tokens stored in httpOnly cookies
(not readable by JavaScript). Sessions expire after 30 days or on sign-out.
All traffic is served over HTTPS. Security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options)
are enforced via .htaccess.
Your private recipes are never returned in API responses for other users.
